Buying a used M8000

I've got a lead on a used Warn M8000 for $400.
Its off a wreck but the crash was a rollover. Is this a good price? What things should I look at for damage?

What should come with a winch? A fairlead, solenoid box, ????
Do they come with any mounting brackets?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a decent price. I got my used but pretty much new 8000 for $500. I hear 4wheel parts has sales for $450 though.

A complete winch should have a roller fairlead w/ 100' cable(or steel hawse fairlead w/ 90' of cable), solenoid box, enough wire to connect to the engine bay, and a wired controller. Controllers can cost 40+ dollars so make sure that hasn't been lost. They don't come with brackets only a couple of nuts and bolts.

If you are buying used try and see what the condition of the cable is. It's lame to find out that the cable has all sorts of kinds and breaks that are deeper in the drum.
