body swap?

Im looking to find out if the mounts of an 87 longbed and the same style xtra cab are close to the same or if i could move them. What would be needed to throw that cab and bed on my longbed frame? What would be needed exactly ?Would it even fit with the wheelbase?

I had a guy pull out in front of me while i was doing 40 and he switched from a stopped lane in to my lane 4 feet in front of me...needless to say both rigs are totaled. Heres the kicker, His insurance is canceled and he has another insurance but doesnt know if it will cover it. I have uninsured coverage but the guy offered to pay it out of pocket. Both fender wells are crushed core support is trashed hood grill and bumper. The motor and driveline are new in my truck same with the suspension but rather then buy a support and wheelwells i was thinking about just swapping bodys. Xtra cab space would be really nice. the other nice thing is while the bodys off my runner i can just spray it all and put em both together and have clean trucks.

My bed sides are pretty rusty and it needs a bunch of body work but i dont have a problem doing it because honestly i love this truck and dont plan on ever selling it off(first car 10 years ago).Im picking up a hood, fenders, grill, bumper, caps, and everything cosmetic today so i can spray it all this weekend.....any input would be great.
