On-Board Air

So I got a pretty cool gift for Christmas. My father-in-law gave me an air compressor for my truck. I know most people don't like them, but it came from Harbor Freight. It's their high volume 12v model ($70). I noticed today it looks exactly like the VIAIR 400. It even has almost the same specs. Anyhow, I moved my cruise control and mounted the compressor in its place. I tested it on my 285/75-16s. It aired up from 10psi to 30psi in about four min. I plan on adding an air tank from Wheelers ($65) for extra volume so I can run an impact or in case I end up with air lockers. I'll add pics tomorrow.

Be sure to update us on how this compressor is going later on. I'd like to know what kind of life these things have.
