Arb

Fellow 4runner geeks,

My truck was hit overnight in a hit and run, rather than use the
ins. money to replace the standard bumper, Im going to purchase
an ARB bumper (great excuse to get one!) Anyway, Im looking for a 2nd Gen.
4runner ARB Bull Bar bumper, havn't decided if I want the Winch or not.
Anyone looking to unload one, or know where to get the best price?

Also, Im going to replace the rear springs with the Downey set, do I need to get a heftier torsion bar?

you guys rule,

chris

ARB Cheapest Price

Just as a follow up after calling and looking around:

Performance Products sells a non-winch Arb bumper for $689. First time buyers can get a 10% discount and it is only $45 to ship.

Brings the cost to $665, only 100 bucks more than the ins. company gave me
to cover a new bumper....score.

After alot of looking around i would say this is the cheapest cost after delivery.

Chris, be sure to check with Mike on the forum, he owns Xtreme Off Road, and his user name reflects his bizz.

He may be able to get you one as well as these other places:
Central 4WD where I got mine from my local store

4x4 Connection

Most will negotiate their prices.

Let me know if you would be interested in a pair of used Downey Heavy Duty springs. I have a pair for sale $50 plus shipping. Nothing wrong with them except a little surface rust in a few spots. I replaced them with Cruiser Coils a couple months ago for more lift.

Mike, get a solid # from a vendor including shipping and go to your local 4wheelparts, they will beat the cost and you don't have to wait for it.
