Anyone running the "Little OME" kit...?

I've had it with replacing CV boots and I don't want to alter where and how I wheel so I'm looking at options. One is the "Little OME" kit from TRDparts4u.com. Any one using or have used this kit and know if it will ease the angle on the CV's and if the kit is proven on the harder stuff?

The type of suspension lift won't make a difference in the CV angles.

Diff drop or more heavy duty boots are your best options. Sonoran and others make diff drops.

Ok thanks. as I read up on the diff drop spacers it says it is kind of a "give and take", I''ll be lessing the angle on the boots but increasing the angle on the U joints. How much of a sacrifice will this be to there life span? I don't want to fix one problem and replaced it with another. The diff drop looks like a VERY easy fix to my problem though.

What boots are you running. I have been wheeling with oem boots and BJ spacers for over a year with no trouble..

Do you have the t-bars cranked??

Yeah the torsions are cranked. Just running factory boots...this will be my 5th to replace in as many months. I just got an email back from Sonoran and it looks like the diff drop is not possible for my 2 gen. So I'm back to BJ spacers.

Sorry about that - I knew Steve made one, but didn't realize it was only for third gen. 4crawler has got ya covered:

Probably others too.

Are you replacing the boots or the entire half shaft? I understand getting the boots installed properly is a little tricky.

Get the BJ spacers and diff drop so you can crank your t-bars down a little and give you a more comfortable ride in the front. I got the diff drop and it does make a noticeable difference. Combined with BJ spacers you will have no problems with CV's.
