94 pickup 22re question

im about to start my SAS but i need to know what size lift i should get. i really want to run 37's on eight inch lift but idk how my 22re will handle it even after re gearing.. would 5.29 be okay? and if i were to do a motor swap for power (looking to be a wheeler in the future but not yet) what swap should i do? everyone says to keep my 22re? and i heard a rumor about high performance 22re shops that that sell motors that have 200+ horse power.. are these real?

8 inches of lift? yikes....

I would run 4 inches max for 37 inch tires.....22re is perfect just make sure its geared correctly...

yeah thats what i thought im not sure what my gearing should be though.. i've had this truck forever my dad bought it for me when i turned sixteen but i just got into wheelin. i eventually wanna build a nice wheeler out of it, big 30 splined axles dual xsfer case caged etc. i looked at doa motors they looked nice to and they were i little more reasonable but i think im just gonna by a block and build my own. mine has 300000 and is still running strong though
