4Runner Auto hub problems

Hay guys first post on here and im in need of some expertise. So iv got an old first gen 4Runner and it has Auto Locking Hubs the problem is they dont work i was wondering if there is a way to get them to stay locked on permanently or make something up to do away with them altogether. I would switch to manual hubs but i cant find any cheap and it is only a River beater (only paid $400 to get it) so i dont want to spend heaps on it and its not like im using it every day so not to worried if its gona cause long term problems. just need them to be locked up when i put it in 4wd.

Have someone send you a set of drive plates that are on the ones with the early ADD system.

I have no idea what it would cost to ship from the USA though.

Take the hub out and fix whatever needs to be fixed.

It's possible you have a fuse blown, or broken wire...

My Front axle just started leaving me stranded as well...

My 4WD light doesnt even come on the dash now, and I dont hear the Front Diff *CLICK*.
