4Crawler Rock Sliderz for my 4th gen.
Yay!!! Ordered April 6th, got 'em today!

When they first arrived today with the mounting plates sticking out of the box and the paint torn up a bit, I was a little concerned. The box was mauled, so perhaps the delivery man was as excited as me to see what was in there:

To get them out, I pulled open one end of the box ... the rest of the damage was done by the aforementioned eager delivery man, or somewhere along the way from California. When I pulled them out, they were awesome, and I only wish that I knew how to weld so I could have installed them immediately. Oh, and they have the 1" kickouts at both ends, just in case I ever decide to go back to gigantic tires.

They are relatively heavy, as I believe the shipping label noted they were 97lbs, but I am not concerned at all. I am so glad that I waited and got my sliders from Roger ... they are about 100x better-planned than some I had tried earlier on (the poor planning was not the fault of the maker, but of the idiot measurements of the guy he was trying to produce for), and I am completely impressed by the quality of work!

Soon as I find a reputable welder around here, I'll be getting them installed and making plans to test them out. (not because I fear they won't live up, but just as an excuse to take them out and get them a little dirty) Anyway, I encourage any of you 4th gen. guys who are looking for some sliders to be certain to consider these seriously. They were by far the best-priced option, and seemed to me through my research also to be one of the best designs out there ... not to mention the fact that Roger is a joy to do business with.
I'll be sure to post more pics as soon as I get them welded on.

(I have also been running one of Roger's 1.25" body lifts for 7 months now and it too has been one of the best modifications I've made to my truck.)

Hey Rocky, I know Chris (valkry from TOD) alluded to this guy, he does do awsome work http://www.rocktekcustomz.com/
If your up to a trip to Grapevine that is.
Sliders look good!
I bet they look better on the truck

Yep, UPS can really do a number on those boxes. I double box the sliders, and strap them together. Considering their intended use (sliding/scraping over rocks) a little bit of paint scratching is normal in delivery. Looks good, anxious to see how they look installed.

Richard and Roger are both awesome guys with great products. There were a lot of reasons I decided to go with the 4Crawler sliders though, and I am happy that I did! I remember a day when I almost got you some sliders ... teehehee, I'm sorry that never worked out, but perhaps it's for the best. In any case, Richard's sliders and Roger's sliders both are at the top of their class - you really can't go wrong with either design, or either guy. I'd recommend either one of them in a split second.

I think the look of a given set of sliders depends on the vehicle and other accessories. If you have lots of round/tube things (like front/rear bumpers) then a round tube slider looks good. If you have square accessories, then square tube sliders may look better. I've had both round and square tube sliders on my truck over the years and I find square tube sliders are more practical in terms of using them for steps and HiLift points, etc. But each person/vehicle has there own needs and preferences. If there were one "perfect" slider design, that would be the only one made.
