i love the body lift. the install was pretty easy - definitely easier than spacer-based suspension lifts!! i don't have any install pics, sorry ... but it's relatively easy, and if you have any specific questions, i could try to help answer them. GoodTimes and ahriman also have the body lift ... and they might be of more help than me.

Where in the dfw area are you rocky? I have a friend who does construction welding and I could give him a call.

Still trying to find someone nearby to weld them on. Grapevine is a bit far to drive ... so I was just hoping there'd be something close ... and I'm still searching.

If Grapevine is to far try rocktaxi.com that is Ed Westerbecks shop I think it is in Dallas. He did Spectres sliders and Todd was very happy. I have seen some of his other work and he does great work.

One advantage of getting the bolt-on version of the sliders, is that you could install them yourself. Then if you wanted them welded, have someone buzz them on whenever. Also may save money on the welding, since everything is already in position and ready to go. If you are paying the welding shop by the hour and they have to spend time getting everything located properly, that can run up the cost.

Yeah, I should've gone with the bolt-on setup in this case.

damn it all to hell!! that was pretty funny though ... for a few minutes there, it seemed like just about everything was catching on fire! the fire near Jason's head was the scariest though, because he could have easily been burned.

thanks for burning me a CD! next time we go wheeling or have a WAT, i'll be better at taking pictures (i usually am more diligent).

Thanks, Allen! I definitely recommend them - they are beefy and so well made. Are you still thinking of getting some from Roger? You should!! They'd look perfect with your black truck!

Yeah, I want'em bad... but all my free cash went to replacing my stupid knock sensors, I'll have to wait a little while. Now that yours are on, do you think i should get the 1" or 2" kickouts?
