I could have it sit a little lower, about 2 inches lower if the tach adapters were not there,,,,

however they are and I still have plenty of clearance, I am also adding a real nice fused junction block that I am getting from work, this block will accept a main power lead, has terminals that will accept female connectors and have fuse insets for each. I think there are two different styles, one you can run 10 accessories off of, another like 15 or 20

the 10 accessory one will be more than enough..

Here are some more pics...

I ran the ground down to the frame rail, bolted it through. There is a hole in one side of the frame rail, I poked the drill through, made a hole on the other side of the frame rail....now a bolt holds the cable in place.

I used an existing, tapped bolt hole on the fenderwell to mount the switch bracket that I fabbed up. it was galvanized and though I heated it to bend it, and it got discolored I didnt bother to paint it.

Looks very clean. I like it. Do you forsee any problems with the intake not getting as much air?

I think it will be fine

I may move the cruise control, set it up so I can run a conical, and be able to connect to an outside snorkel in a matter of minutes, the snorkel would be permanent on the truck, go through the fender and unibody near where the cruise control is,,,,normal every day driving it will run off the conical filter, then swap in a fitted pipe with rubber sleeves when going off road and then would have a small filter on the snorkel mouth / intake

just starting to get some ideas on this now, but likely will happen

thanks for the compliment, eventually I will spary some flat black on the battery switch bracket

Nice idea for a quick swap between conical and snorkel. Best of both worlds that way. Keep up the nice fabbing!

Holy crap, I use those same lights with 100W bulbs as back-up lights on my '91 4Runner. Kinda overkill IMO for bay lights.

I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.....put it this way I broke down one night, first time I ever broke down

had no light under the hood and stupid me didnt have a flashlight in the car....and as for my thoughts on overkill

I am an idiot...here is my camaro that makes 625 - 650 horsepower WITHOUT the nitrous....I do have an adjustable kit in the car which will make anywhere from 125 - 300 extra hp on the juice..
