Will a 34x9.5x15 be to narrow? IM on mostly street and when offroad everynow and then. How will a narrow tire handel rocks/mud?

 

34x9.5's work actually VERY well off-road (at least the people I have known with the swamper 34x9.5's) I currently wheel with a guy running 34x9.5 swamper LTB's and they work awesome for him.

No such thing, you have 34x9.50 TSL's and 34x10.50 LTB's. The TSL's put the LTB's to shame in terms of performance.

The 34x9.50's are great tires. I know more than one person who wheels on them and they always impress people. Work well on rocks, and great in mud as long as there is a bottom.

If you are mainly concerned about treadlife, a bias TSL is not for you. I have ~20K on mine and they are under half tread, but you have to keep them balanced and you have to keep them rotated. The faster you drive on the highway, the faster they wear as well. Some people who just mount them and balance them enough to do 80mph every day only get 10K miles out of them. Some who take good care of the tires get 35K. It wont be much longer before i need to break out the wallet and get new tires, they will still be fine for the road, but will start hurting off-road. I wont make it to 30K and still have a wheelable tire, thats for sure.

 

personally I think that would be the sweetest tire in the universe at that size - SERIOUSLY

 

Only problem I have seen with the 34x9.50 TSLs is they tend to loose beads easily. Best to run them on as narrow a wheel as you can (5"-5.5") or get some bead locks. I've run 33x9.50 BFGs and had no problems, and they come in radials and last a decent amount of time, maybe 30K miles on- and off-road use.
