ok heres what ive done so far...... i made myself a custom high flow ghetto cat... aka hammer and a big pry bar (that stuff comes out easy) this is temporary ( in case someone here works for the c.a. dmv) till i upgrade to a header and new exhaust. i am thoroughly convinced that K&N filters suck the tube that goes to the plenum was filthy also the stock airbox was digusting i took all that apart and soaked the parts (not the afm) in degreaser and they were spotless when i was done i will be doing the seafoam treatment tommorow in case my injectors are not closing properly so i will see if it is better and report back

Those old skool cats suck. I got one of the new "honeycomb" style hi-flow cats. Supposdely they are better with emissions too.
Good luck, curious to hear how the seafoam works for you. I couldn't find it anywhere around me.

Did you try NAPA, Seth?
I think the part number is SF41 or something like that. I know the first 2 are SF and the last 2 is some combination of 1, 4, 6 - I think.
