1st Gen 4" Lift Shock Suggestions
864runner 4" superlift
I'm looking to replace the shocks that came with my 4" Superlift Kit. I've been doing a lot of searching and haven't found what I need. If you can point me to a thread, great.
Orginally I wanted to go with Edelbrock shocks (I had them before the lift and loved them) but don't think they carry a model for 4" lift.
I'm looking at the adjustble shocks to get the best on/off road performance. I was looking at the RS9000X but can't find one that fits. Is there something that works?
The Explorer Pro Comp MX-6 has a model for me but I had a bad experience with Pro Comps in the past. How are the mx-6's?
What would you get for good on/off road performance? I'd like to spend less than $500 for four.

For the Rancho shocks, measure the lengths of the existing shocks (compressed/extended) and compare that and the mounting styles with the Rancho shock listings to find something that matches:

When I had my trailmaster 4 inch lift on I ran Bilstein's 5100 series shocks. they are deisgned for the 4 inch kit. I liked the ride.
Alanbobalan on here has that setup now. He can probably tell you what he thinks of it.
I bought the shocks through www.performanceproducts.com
