Where's the T100 owners?

Howdy, I'm glad they added the T100 to this board but it seems like most visitors so far are Tundra owners. Lets get some more good ol T owners to chime in!

sorry to get in late, i too am a proud owner of a T-100. here are some of the things i have done, but i'm just getting started.

2 inch add-a leaf in rear
sway-away torsion bars
low profile bump stops
32 inch BFG ATs on black AR rims w/ matching spare
K&N air filter
Optima red top battery
Warn X8000i winch on custom reciever mount
Custom prerunner bumper with skid plate
Topper, Yakima rack, steel storage box( i'm living in mexico right now), $10 wallmart compresser, shovel and a machette.

does anyone know what the best lift kit is for the T-100? i want some more height, but don't want a harsh ride and don't want to drop my spindle. what have people tried?

¡Maneja duro!

1996 T100 owner here

I own a 96 T100 2wd dx and Im very happy with it. bought it a few months back and havent really done anything to it except can those gross stock wheels and throw the tundra wheels on it, looks a hell of alot better now! I plan on getting a lift for it soon....the only one I could find was at downey offroad, so i'll work on it slowly.

what kind of cool mods have you guys made?

You may recognize me as Joel Ericson on 4x4wire

I'm here! Different username here than on 4x4wire. I haven't checked into changing my username on the wire. In any case, I check in from time to time... moreso with the Indiana Yota owners as we schedule runs. I recently joined Pirate as well... though I've only been there once to check out Rockota's 4Runner for sale.

Cheers!

Hello! Newbie and probably the only female here! I have a 95 T100 Dx Xtra Cab V6 (5), Evergreen Pearl with 58k original miles. A few of the things I have added are tint, a stereo system, alarm, a Leer Signature shell, chrome fender trim,a tube grill I haven't installed yet, a Smittybuilt front bumper, Flowmaster dual exhaust, K&N filter, lifted the front with the torsion bars to fit my BFG 30's. I bought it new and have had the dealer service it including the head gasket recall. I plan on keeping it as long as I can. Anyone know of where I can get a new rear stock chrome bumper or a Smittybuilt rear bumper? I also need new shocks all around and would appreciate some advise. Thanks guys!

TJ95,

Welcome to a very special group indeed... the T100 crowd.

Any body shop should be able to find you a new rear stock chrome bumper. My last T100 was rear-ended and they put a new one on for me (had no problems finding it).

As far as shocks go, I'd suggest Bilstiens for sure! I just put mine in last weekend. They were recommended to me as the first aftermarket part to add and I don't regret it at all. The ride is so much better!

Regards,
Joel

Welcome TJ -

It's great to have another female T100 owner in the group.

We are all here for the same reason, we own a T100
- Toyota's red headed stepchild -- and we like it. We are mutant's

Anyway, post some pic's of your T, share some knowledge,
ask some questions and visit some of our T100 web sites -
Here's mine it has links to other T100 sites.

I particularly enjoy when they hardware store asks me what model, I tell them T100, and a few minutes later they say, "That was a Tundra right?" or "That was a Tacoma?" or "What year was that Tundra again?"

This "red-headed stepchild" truck is better than the Tacomas and Tundras on many levels IMHO. We are the few, the proud, the T100 owners.

Howdy

Welcome! Glad to see this post is getting some action as this is a quiet board for us T owners. Pirate and 4x4Wire seem much more active. Lets keep this one going as the more the merrier. Live long & prosper (both prerequisites for owning a T )

i have a really hard time finding aftermarket parts for my truck, so my upgrades have been minor, custom prerunner bumper, winch on reciever, 2 inch lift via torsion bars, low-profile bump stops, and an add-a-leaf, ect. about shocks, i think rancho 9000s are the best. i have used them on my last two trucks and they have made a huge difference in ride quality, and they are adjustable. does anyone have pictures of a T-100 after a SAS?

I have had my truck since feb 98' I have 93kand haven't had any problems.I have a little shimmy from the front tire on the drivers side. Maybe just balance issues or alignment. Here is a good spot for some info. Here

My 98' is pretty much stock. I have Warn hubs, Edelbrock shocke and I use Royal Purple motor oil. I have a 1st gen. TRD supercharger I'll install someday(or sell), It just needs some more goodies for it first.
Good luck with your T they ARE the best trucks out there.
