Switching to synthetic oil

Okay, my 02 tundra has got 114k very easily driven and well maintained miles. I was wanting to run synthetic motor oil. Should I rethink this one? I know about the leakage possibilities but figure since this trucks had an easy life it might not be an issue. Also, what weight should I run? Calls for 5w30

Run synthetic. The leakage rumor is often just that. A rumor.

Run 5W30 or 10W30. I would suggest Mobil 1, but any synthetic is better than dino oil.

I switched to synthetic at 100K and haven't had any leaks. As for the weight, I use Mobil1 5w30 and change it at 5k mile intervals.
