Question Air Shocks

i was watching a show the other day and they we're redoing a dodge 4x4 and the main thing they we're doing on the truck was putting in a new suspension system consisting of air bags and extendable shocks, the air bags could lift the truck from 10" to 13" and at the push of a button drop the truck back to it's original height, i was thinking this would be a great thing for my tundra, does anybody know if they make something like that for my toyota? or is it one of those after market things that you can only find for the american made trucks? thanks for any input.

I think you were watching Xtreme 4x4 on Spike right? The company they used was Kelderman air ride technologies. I looked up their web site and you are correct that their products are for American trucks.
There are a lot of sites that sell air bag helper springs for the rear of a Tundra. Firestone is a manufacturer of air bags, but I couldn't find any kits that were a suspension lift like on the show. I think part of the problem for the Tundra is that it has IFS and the full size American trucks have solid front axles. I'm not sure, but I'd guess the wheel alignment would be hard or impossible to maintain on an IFS truck with an adjustable air suspension. It seemed like the air lift on the Dodge lifted the body up while leaving the steering components relatively unaffected.

Look here - Air Lift Company

Check under Truck Campers for their Load Controller II. I'm familiar with a guy who has this system on his Tundra, and he's very happy with it -
