2wd swap 4x4

i am open to ideas and prices
i have a 2wd T100 and was wondering iif a 4x4 swap can be done (price being cheaper then buying a new 4x4 t100) also if it is smart cash wise to do a 4x4 swap to go staright to SAS while doing to he 4x4 conversion
if anyone can estimate a rough price this would be great

Hmm yoiu want to do a 4x4 swap? I think that the best thing to do is a SAS. Thats because I doubt that the crossmembers and running gear are the same on 4x2 and 4x4s. And to do a swap like that would cost some serious money. It may be easier and cheaper in the long run to sell yours and buy a 4x4.

A member, Casey, did that with his Runner not too long ago.

However, I think he got some great deals on parts and labor, so for most I think it'd be more practical to trade in the 2wd and get a 4x4. But, if your heart's set on it, it can be done, obviously.

edit: he didnt do an SAS though...dunno if that would make the swap easier or harder

I have seen this question asked a few time over the years, in 4x4 mags, etc. The answer is always more costly to do a swap than trading for a 4x4. It is a lot more complicted and expensive than it seem at first glance.

Good luck.
