I have a question someone hopefully has an answer for. I bought my Tundra thinking the frame recall undercoating would keep the frame from rusting. To keep a long story short many phone calls to HQ and local dealers, I am now screwed with a rusting frame.

I found an 01 Sequoia the owner pulled the engine from to rebuild. Family issues came up so he is selling it for 1300 with the engine out and apart. It has a replacement frame on it with new struts, brakes, and tires.

can I take my Tundra's engine and just swap it over? Are there any major differences between the Tundra and Sequoia from 2000 to 2001? Wiring harness the same? etc?

if I had a garage I would do it, but i have a family friend willing to do the swap for a 1000.
