Under 1200 RPM on an LC

91 Land Cruiser, 235,000 miles. Fj80

I have been having 3 lights on my dash display come on when under 1200 RPm. the Battery discharge light, brake light, and A/T oil temp light. The motor seems to almost wanna die when brakeing to a stop, under 1200 RPMs. It will stay running as long as I tap the throttle to keep the rpms up. Any suggestions?

Thanks~
R/S

Did your motor seem to wanna die as well? Or just had the lights come on?

Common for the charge and brake lights to come on when the alternator brushes are worn in most Toyotas:

A guy in my club just had that come up in his Corolla.
