Thinking of getting an '82 w/ an LS swap
Hey all,
It's been a long time since I've been around these parts. I sold my truck years ago (which I desperately regret) and ended up building a Sami for a while. Anyway, I am looking for something a little bigger than the Sami (or a lot) and found this LS swapped 1982 FJ60. I just wanted to see what people had to say, if they've heard of this, things to look for, etc. I have never owned a swapped motor car, but I do love landcruisers and if the work is done properly it could be a cool truck to own. I really don't even know where to begin/what to ask, etc just really looking for some advice.
Thanks all!

"1982 Toyota FJ60 with 5.3 LS swap. 110,000 original miles. Originally Tennessee truck no rust except for for minor above rear wheel well. Has 5.3 LS engine from 2004 Chevy avalanche. Transmission is 4l60E automatic attached to stock Toyota twin stick tcase. Runs and drives perfect. Has been daily driver for past year. Average over 20 mpg. Tons of power. Will cruise 75-80 mph all day long. New brakes, and wheel bearings, every fluid on entire truck just changed, including radiator flush, axles and tcase. locker in rear axle, rock sliders, gas tank skid plate. Old man emu 6 inch spring over axle lift with greasable shackles. Vintage Air air conditioning system. 33x10.5 BFG all terrains less then 4,000 miles. Steering is tight front axle knuckles rebuilt.. Paint is original with great patina. Has scratches and few minor dents. Not a show truck. No major accidents ever. Built and owned by adult mechanic. Not beat or hacked together. Has been on several 500+ miles trips with ZERO issues. Truck just completed 3,000 miles round trip to Moab Utah and back. Interior is functional with 2008 Honda Civic seats. $8,350 or best offer. Will trade for diesel or 1950s-1960s-70s cars and trucks or other interesting 4x4s"
