I've seen vehicles in Utah advertised here in Montana. And I've seen co-workers sell cars to people from Seattle who flew out just to test drive it. If you've got a "classic", you know there are people out there who have been looking for exactly this thing, and they'll travel across the country to get it. But in your hometown....maybe nobody.

i guess but you would think anyone dedicated enough to fly to see a car would also be looking at the associated listings in their respective areas.

My dad and i did a frame up on a 72 chevy 4x4 stepside and a guy found it on the spokane c-list and paid us to drive it to missula to buy it but he had the initiative to look on the spokane c-list, more organized that way i feel.

Yup. If only I could do the snatching...one project at a time, I guess. Can't take on any more debt right now. That's not something I would ever sell, if I bought it.
