New Guy looking at FJ40

Ok, to start out I am new to this site/forum, so I am still trying to figure out the area of the forum i need to be.

I am looking at an 1970 FJ40 with a 350 conv.
so I am lookin for anything that will help me what to look for before I spend my $.
as other forums do, the regulars sometimes bash the newbie for not searching, but I just want to state that I will be searching and reading lots.

but the regulars know the site much better than I, can probably pass on links and such for suggestive directions.

so CHeers to all and looking fwd to learning about my new toy I am looking to buy.
thanks

welcome to Yotatech! Great to have you, but you'll probably find more info over at IH8MUD, which is mostly a cruiser forum.
