Hello all - Looking for FJ62 Parts -
Hello I'm new to this board.
I just recently purchased an '88 FJ62, pretty good condition but I need to do some things prior to getting a passed inspection -- and I just got ticketed yesterday, so its time to get to work.
I cannot find a resource for sway-bar links. The one on my driver's side is broken. Also, I'll need a set of balljoints. I'm in New Hampshire, so I'll need to have them shipped to me if they are across the country.
Anyone know of a good parts resource, I'll take used for the links, please let respond in kind.
Thanks.

What do you mean by balljoints? Tie rod ends or knuckle bearings?

"ball joints" here probably refers to what you are calling knuckle bearings.
Yes, I had considered taking the sway-bar out altogether, I had done that on another SUV I had as I was told it didn't really serve any important purpose at that time anyway.

Do a full knuckle service, get a kit from Marlin Crawler or Cruiser Outfitters, or some other advertiser on this board. Get a good quaility kit with Koyo bearings.
Pulling the swaybar might buy you some time to find the parts you need.

Yup, your prolly right there, I'm not much of an Ebay user so I don't think of it much. Look for a quality knuckle kit there too, just make sure it has Koyo bearings and Japanesse seals.

Thanks all!
Thanks all for the prompt suggestions. I actually found the sway-bar links available at Robbins Auto Parts -- called them on a lark today. They are large a local supplier here in New Hampshire. I usually don't call them as they have a huge mark-up on their parts, but I am finding that you have to hunt around to get what you need for this vehicle. Strangely all the suppliers have different parts, but none have a wide range. Very odd.
I just want to get the inspection sticker and then I'll go with outfitting with an entirely new knuckle set of good quality as suggested here. Down the road I'd like to put a bit of a lift on it, replace the leaf springs front and rear, etc. but right now money is tight and I need this as my working vehicle at present. No work, no money, you know how it goes.
