Hello all, im new here, just saying hi!

Hi, hello.
well, i have a '70 fj40. im hoping to have it road worthy soon. my main problem is the brakes. but im working on em. im sure ill have questions for you guys. well, ttyl!

the brakes still arent to good, but im working on em!

one more thing, does the rear wheel look like its kinda close to the front of the wheel well??

As for your question, dear god yes!

The entire body looks like it's sitting too far back on the frame actually.
After looking at some more FJ40's, they all seem to be like that. WTF?

now that is a sweet rig. but i do think that the tire looks close to the front of the well. did someone do any mod to the axle (move it forward)?

that's it, scofco hit the nail on the head. if you look at the front as well then it seems that wheel is too far forward. take a look at your body mounts and see if they are modded.

hmm, that just seems like an odd thing to do, move the body further to the back... it dont make much sense, would there have been any advantages to that? im probally not going to worry about it, im more interested in driving it!!... for now.
