2f Motor..... INFO NEEDED

Hey guys, I'm lookin to buy a Landcruiser FJ40, but my old man won't give me the OK till i can prove to him the 2F motor is a good motor... So i am coming to all of you for help. Please help me find some Info on this motor... Is it like any other yota motor and runs forever? or is it a break down tomorrow kinda truck... i know toyota is a good truck I love my 92 pickup but I want a more FUN truck... so help me out PLEASE!!! Thanks again

a 2f equipped FJ is unstopable. They will run forever. Hey its a toyota! mine has 215xx and one rebuild (long block and carb) and keeps up with BUILT sbc s. The only time I hate my 2f is on the freeway. (redline @65mph

my dad's old cruiser got a rebuild a little while ago at about 230xxx miles. That thing runs like new now at 249000. Actually I've taken it to tahoe and back a couple times this month and she runs like a champ.

Someday she will be mine, oh yes, she will be mine.
