L-Tec (Esab) heliarc 307i AC/DC stick tig machine with pulse $1000 Iowa-Ne-Colorado

Tig welder is an L-Tec (now Esab) Heliarc 307i. Its a 300 Amp AC/DC stick/tig inverter welder with high frequency, pulse, pre-flow post flow and crater control that runs on 480V 3 phase power - which I no longer have available to me along with a move and shrinking shop space means this machine has to go.

I purchased the main power supply of the welder for $199 from eBay and brought it to the shop in Boone Iowa. I added a tig torch that cost me about $100 and a chiller that I paid another $200 for, as well as foot and thumb amp controls (300). I built a cart and added a new ground clamp and put a 480->120 transformer and nema enclosure/disconnect on it so that it could be completely self contained on its cart (transformer powers 120v chiller). Torch has extra collets, tungstens, gas nozzles and other misc consumables in an altoids tin on top of the unit, there's a new 5lb box of 6011 steel stick rods and I have 6-7 lbs of various tig filler rods I'd include as well. It has a ground clamp in good condition and a Linde argon regulator/flowmeter and a newer argon hose. I have a manual for the power supply and a parts list for the torch and torch components to go along with.

This machine can weld steel, stainless, aluminum, titanium, brass, bronze, copper and cast iron, thicknesses up to about 3/8" thick single pass in steel and 1/4" in Aluminum. It has a pulse feature that can be turned down to weld very thin sheet (I've practiced on beer cans with it). Has a stick mode but does not include stick stinger. Has AC wave balance, AC frequency, pre flow, post flow, slope up, slope down, start amps end amps (crater control) and 2 different ranges of pulse switching frequency and pulse width and amperage. A knob to switch between AC/DC tig and stick modes and buttons for gas control, gas purge and water control.

It can do a lot and is a great machine. If you have 3 phase 208/240 I may have a 25 kVA transformer available to sell you for an additional $350. Asking $1000 for all items listed above

Machine is currently under power located in Boone Iowa. On weekend of June 20th I'm going to be driving from Denver to Boone to pick it and some other equipment up and driving to northern Iowa, then back to Colorado. If you aren't terribly out of the way I can drop off for free on my drive back. If you want it shipped I can crate for $50 and get you a quote via freightquote. In order to do so I may have to cut down the cart a bit.

Mostly I'd like cash or paypal but would consider trades for an M1911 or Chiappa Rhino handgun, AR-15, 220V 45+A plasma cutter, CA size lathe tool holders, carbide boring bars and spade drills <1" diameter, clean doors, front fenders, cab corners for an 89-95 Toyota 4x4 Pickup, front winch bumper, rear air locker for same truck

Best way to reach me is to call/text my cell 303-917-8149
