So it's been a while since I posted on here. Since that time, I have finished my bed, and have put it back on the truck, and it looks great!

 

that bed looks awesome man, fabrication is a skill not many people have and that looks sweet.

is the plan to restore the whole truck or to make it decent enough to drive?

StreetPerformer: My plans are kinda mixed, I want to drive it, but I also kinda want a First Gen 4x4 also, so I'm not 100% sure what i want to put my money into..

 

great start to the build looks like you took to welding pretty good. i would suggest a budget build. just get it lookin good and savin gas

 

ya, im on a big budget cuz im only 18 and I don't have a job and I'm going to college soon.

 

hope to see more progress soon w/ a 22r rebuild the carb. pullout the dents and some paint itll be good as new

 

So I started college this week and I have a Auto Body class that I am taking and pretty much we can just bring in what ever we want and fix it up. So I decided I am gonna start with my driver side fender.



Here is the passenger side fender, not as bad as the driver side.

 

Here are some pics of my TIG welding.. these are one from my very first time, so they arent that great.. Also the pic quality sucks..

 

not 1/2 bad if i do say so my self but then again im no pro. at welding but glad to see some progress
