Was that small piece for rectangular piping just being held in there by pressure or was it tap welded to the chassis?? Also how did you know how wide to cut the piping?? Sorry, reviving an old thread but why start a new one when all the info is right here

Also, those "drop spindles" what exactly are they and how do you know specifically which ones drop the front end a certain ammount?? Sorry for all the dumb questions. Noob to the mini trucking game. I really want to drop my newly aquired 86 a couple inches to loose some wheel/fender gap while still maintaining a similar to stock ride. Here are some pics for refrence. Thanks!

WOW! That is a monster blind spot. Up or down ?. Really doesnt matter. It's about the action of lifting or lowering. Wrench in hand, music, and your rig.
