i have been looking at the cold air intake for my 22re on ebay. and i dont know if they have a mass airflow sensor adaptor. does anyone know if they hveit or what would happen if they dont have it or whatnot?

Lewis, a cold air intake just means the engine doesn't suck hot engine air. If you look at your intake, the air comes in from behind the grill - you already have a cold air intake.

 

i got it because it is alot less restrictive and has a better filter type in my opinion

Unless you build a box to hold the cone filter with a funnel to the fender where you can draw cold air... Its not worth it. Your engine will be breathing hot air and get worse mileage and power. Any "gain" you feel will be a placebo effect.
