my boy is in Grd 12 this year , and is learnig to drive . building a truck for him https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f209...hought-247625/ , and shop is very busy .. so as usual , my stuff takes a "back seat'

finally some work on my 2wd
after sweeping an inch of dust off .. got a plan in mind .
I need to get the body positioned in order to work on the flip front , as well as the rest . So off came the "fatties" and got a few "hangers" in place to hold the body where I need it to be .

as well as figuring out the correct back spacing for the wheels ..











cool thing is , it's still on the dollies , so it's still movable

Nice to see progress being made! Are you planning on working on it regularly or are you still pretty busy with customer projects?

 

shop is currently booking into July . + we have 3 restorations ( 4-5 month projects each) coming in the other shop .. so yes , very busy .

But the nicer weather is here , so it seems easier to go in on the weekends . Trekker is booked for quite a few shows this year , but I will be working on this project as much as I can

Great looking b-pillars! How do you guys/you do a mold? Using the original b-pillar? S' ok if u can't say, I understand... just a curious cat lol

 

Is that trim more rigid than the flimsy factory stuff? I would assume so but it never hurts to ask.

 

it's a secret .. no , but seriously , this is what I do and has taken 18 years + to get where I am now , so explaining it in 1 post is just not possable ..

it's an art , like PICASSO .. or maybe not
