not sure if i want to bob it yet or not . Hopefully , this weekend i'm going to put some stock tires on it and get the bed kinda sorta in place , then I will see . If I do , the bobbing , probabally 8-10"" . I'm thinkin' I want the back of the bed the same "size" as the front of the bed . bobbing though might interfere with fuel cell placement , so I dont know ?

If you gotta run a different wheel/tire combo, I kinda want to know what this would look like with slightly stretched tires.

Basically, you mount a tire to a rim that's slightly too wide. It started in euros and has worked its way over to imports. I have to admit, I do like the look!

Stretched tires look okay for tuner cars, but there are limits. If you go too wide a rim, it just looks weird. I'd say the back tire of the blue car in the second pic is about the limit before its just plain goofy. I have also found that stretched tires look particularly bad on 4x4 trucks...

^^Agreed. In the case of this build, I think the stretch on the 240sx in the last picture would be enough.

Hey Slacker, when you get to the doors, a really cool idea would be to fab up some special ones that telescope down into themselves like the doors of a BMW Z1.

What do you think? Seems it would be just as outlandish as anything else going on here, but would also add to the one-off epic nature of this build.
