thats cool .. my boy has been in the shop with me since he was 2 , and has helped me with many projects . he's now in Edmonton going to university enrolled in engineering .. and wanting to specalize in robotics .
I dont know the next time we will be able to work on any project in any length , but I am sure glad we spent the time together that we did . We both have many very good memories .

Slacker really awesome build. I'm currently on page 25. Been reading for a couple hrs strait. Had to skip ahead and let you know it such a sick looking truck. Really cool to see you working on it in 2009 and too see you profile pic now.

Yeah, I totally agree with Taco98! I remember this build back in 2008 when I joined the board. Had a few years hiatus while I was without a Toyota, came back and BAM! Slacker's build is amazing!
Great job, brother!

so in prep. of the engine work to come , (Canadian stat. holiday today) , I decided to go in and replace the leaking "glow shift" oil pressure sender .. the top broke off ? and It has been dripping a spot of oil every now and then ..
oil filter has to come off in order to be able to replace the sender , and impressed as always with the OEM Toyota quality products .. the filter still had oil in it even though I haven't started it for 5 months
anyway .. sorry no pics .. but got this done , and ready now to start er' up and install some new stuff

I finally got the headers back from my ceramic coater ..
I built the headers , but I cant do the ceramic coating yet , as it is cured at a much higher temp. then my powder coating oven will go . Cant wait to install them

well yeah .. finally found some time to work on my stuff .
woke her up out of hibernation today

got er' into the shop . I decided to only do the headers and pipes for now , and leave the powder coated pieces to do another day ..
got the stock manifolds and crossover , as well as the header pipe with the cat off .

and my NEW headers installed

it's just loose right now , but all the bolts are in .. SUPER happy with the fit , I did have to remove a couple of the exhaust studs in order to get the headers on , but all in all , I think it was easier to install these , then remove the originals
very happy
