cab on !!

yippie .. now I can start on the floor .

everything fits awesome , and I'm very happy .... EXCEPT only 1 problem .. well not really a problem , but they arnt what they say !!!!
the TrailGear hoops I got , say "Our Medium Hoops will accommodate 12" shocks without cutting the inner fenders"
this is not true .. because of this , I will now have to add a 1" body lift .

so 1" body lift .. and all is extra good ..

good clearance on the cross-over

and a test fit of the STOCK hood . oooo yeahhhhhhh !!!

I've said it before, but I'll say it again - nice work! That's really starting to come together. I've really enjoyed watching this build and look forward to seeing it finished.

Great progress! I feel like opening this thread up on my Living room TV and eating popcorn while reading it

2 Questions:
-I know that your BC and my NS environments are kind of similar, so how are you keeping your metal from immediately rusting?

-What are you using for all the welding? Machine/wire/gas? I know from experience that welding old yotas is an excerise in burn-thru frustration Any tips?

thanks ... i'm really glad your enjoying .. it is totally MY PLEASURE to bring this to all .

metal rusts here bad .. but low humidity is part of the secret to keeping it good . I was waiting for the weather to break , waiting for the perfect day to have it blasted .. It was blasted , and imeaditaly returned to my shop .

welding is sometimes a "chore" with this thin stuff , but I love my machine , make all good ... my machine is a 185 Miller (adjustable) I'm sure if you look .. you can see it in some of the pics .. I'm using .32 wire with gas .. just a good all round , and more important , what I like !!! With welding the body .. and expecially the roof .. I had to turn the welder way down .. because of rust happening on the inside .. metal was very thin .. so it's just a build up . slow process .. burning threw the rotted steel untill you find "good stuff" ....
