Steffanie brought us her truck today .. BOOKED APPOINTMENT
1979 in the shop ...
Steffanie is the original owner . Her parents purchaced it for her for her senior high school year gift .

Yay! I am glad you decided to start a build thread here.

That bed looks way too clean for fiberglass.

There isn't even golf ball-sized rust holes on the bed sides...

I can't wait to see more!

there is a time for everything .. maximize resale value of the old pieces to those " hard core purists " whom think they can save them ,
and save the truck before it's to far gone ..

started with removing the bed , and front fenders ..



washing the frame in prep for the POR15 treatment

NEW fronts installed

new dash installed
ordered dash didn't have the defroster vent holes , so I had to cut those and make the vents fit , little time , but done and installed

Mike and Steff picked up there truck today .. paid the bill and drove off very happy.

This turned out awesome. Pretty much exactly what I want done to my 80 yota - cept door skins, too. Great job.
