I know there is Cruiser shop in Scottsdale. ACC I think? Noy sure of their rep tho, as I just found out about them and will be doing some research to see about getting the 40 going.

Just thought I'd chime in on ACC. Great guys, great work. Mostly Landcruiser work going down there, but they do top notch work regardless of the Yota. They rank up there at guru status for me. Check out their website here:

http://www.acctoyota.com/

They're like 3 minutes from my house, which is pretty cool but they're SUPER friendly, down to earth/no BS and always busy.

Can you not de-smog and register as antique auto? That's what I did in TN - no emission testing OR tag renewal for antique autos

for future searchers, i recommend ACC as well, good group of guys there specializing in LC's but ive had my Runner there.

also, Craig's Auto in Marietta. he has several impressive toyota trucks and ive been going there lately for stuff i cant do myself. real nice guy. good lexus shop and i believe they do some MR2 tuning also.
