At full turn it will squeal. But setting steel I can turn wheel no problem.

My 4" lift is made by SuperLift. The kit runs around 700-800 depending on were you buy it. Installing is a PITA. I'm running 35's with 4.10's and have plenty of power. 3.4 engine too. I drove from Kenna WV to Indianapolis IN then back yesterday with no problems. I ran 70-80 mph the whole time running 5th gear. Used 125.00 in fuel tho.

We'll today I got a lot done.
I installed my cold air intake and did a complete exhaust job which included new O2 sensors too... NO MORE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.

I got my intake kit off eBay. It was for a Tacoma but fit perfect on my T100.

I ordered a new Down Pipe, Direct replacement Converter, both O2 sensors, and 40 series flowmaster off eBay too. I installed it all today. The exhaust sounds really good however the Intake is really loud. You can hear it over the engine and exhaust. When you stomp the throttle it roars really loud. Seems like my throttle response is really snappy now tho.

I'm going to try to order my steel for the bed tomorrow. Can't wait to get it built.

Anyone got a 7.5" front diff for a 86-95 Toyota. Mine kinda messed up. I'm unsure what's wrong with it. I think something is stripped out. When lock in 4WD my drive shaft will rotate however the front end just jerks really bad and kinda sounds like it's grinding. I know this because I chained the truck to a tree, locked it in 4LOW then got out and watched it to see what was wrong lol. Yesterday my 4WD worked great but this morning I was pulling out of my driveway and when I went to take the truck outa 4WD it popped really loud. Later on today I was locked in and rolling 4ward and my truck kinda locked up like I slammed the breaks. I was barley rolling when it did it. Then this evening I had no 4wd. That's when I diagnosed it.

Soo,... Anyone got a diff... 4.10 ratio...

Sweet I'll have to PM him. I'm sure I can find one locally but if a member has one here I'd rather share my funds with a member then a stranger.

On your front lift was it just coilovers and shocks? And a diff drop? I'm looking to level mine out after the zuk. I'm not really wanting to spacer lift it. I'm thinking bilstein 5100's, and new coilovers.
Mostly because my front is wore out and I have been looking for a reason to get a lift. I want about 2 inches. Maybe 3. I would diff drop it even with just 2 inches probably. With this big snow coming tonight I should make enough to pay for a decent lift.
Any recommendations?

I can't help you there... My truck has Torsion bars. It's completely different from your Tacoma. Check out a google search. Type in
Yotatech toyota Tacoma lift kit
All kinds of stuff will pop up.

Yes

So today I made a few phone calls to the local salvage yards. I found a diff about 70 miles away for $100.00. So I took a road trip. Once I got back my buddy and I put my truck on his lift and started disassembling. After I got my old one out I had to inspect it lol. The ring gear is missing half its teeth and 2 spider gears were stripped. I ended up doing a ADD delete while I had it apart. Once it was reinstalled I headed home and everything works great except for my 4x4 light which uses the ADD setup

Yup...had a similar break about a year ago. Mine I only cracked 6 teeth off of though. 4wd was still usable, but I got this weird harmonic that kept getting worse. Just gotta remember these front diffs aren't that strong, especially for you turning 35's. Have you thought about regearing to handle them?

I've considered rehearing. This truck had a rough life prior to me buying it. So I'm kinda blaming thst for part of the issue. I had a mini truck once that cleared 37's. I never broke anything other then CV's. Stock gearing too. But who knows rite. But yea I've really considered regearing. I have a factory 4.88 front diff that I can use. Just have to buy a kit for the rear. If I go that route then I'm going to lock the rear as well. I just dont know anyone that can regear

I've really been considering a Dana 44 swap. I swore that I wouldn't attempt it on this truck but the idea is killing me. I priced all of sky's products and its not to bad. Not much more then my IFS kit I bought. And i got free access to the axle or both front and rear axles.

Lol setting up gears really isn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be. Just take your time. But if your really not comfortable you could just get a built third from east coast gear supply. It's a little pricy but at least then you get a quality built diff with a warranty.

And ya, that sky kit looks pretty stout. Honestly though, if I were to go that route, I would have to go big with a set of 60s.

I don't know if you ever found any wheels but those ultra rogue are available in 16in sizes for the chevy 1/2 tons. I'm pretty sure they are compatible on ours.

had the oppurtunity to take some pictures tonight as I was wheeling toward the end of the trail. This was my last hard obstacle before reaching the trails end. Sorry for the poor quality as it was dark and kinda spur of the moment.

Today while I was at the salvage yard I picked up a Nissan Exterra roof rack.. I cut it down and bolted it to my T100..

The roof rack looks slick. Definitely a cool cheap mod! Too bad about the axle though...
