shake down went good, only thing was my charging system. So i put a gm 120 amp alternator and dual batteries








great investment! i suggest everyone with a wheeler and lots of lights and a killer stereo, you run dual batteries

 

I bet you would never guess i use this rig as my daily driver? lol yep its my dd! and i love it!

Recently i wrecked on my dirt bike. Now i am a few months away from being 19. The wrecked broke my back and left me paralyzed from the waist down. I am slowly getting feeling and movement back which is awesome. Never give up on anything. I didn't build this rig to let something like this happen and stop me.

Finally got a real set of hubs! Dynatrac chromoly hub assemblies with Yukon 30 splines inner. Hopefully soon ill get chromoly inner axles and 35 spline hubs

 

 

Sweet build. Glad to see your injury didn't slow you down. I raced MX for 10 years (quit about 9 years ago). Ive rode on and off ever since then and Im now trying to ride more and more. Im hoping my kids (6 and 2) will get into it so I can start racing with them lol.

What trans are you going to run with the LS?

 

That is awesome! I am running a brand new turbo 350 from monster transmissions to my stock toyota t case for now. I have a np205 that I am going to build up with a doubler and all the good stuff then swap it in later

 

My original plan with my build was using a th350 behind my 4.3, but decided I wanted an OD lol. Plus I got the 4l60e with my 4.3. Ill be following to watch the LS swap.

BTW...I like the name of the build.

 

Wait wait wait! Backup! You bought that FJ40 for $2800?!?! What a deal! Holy smokes. The crappiest non running rust buckets in Colorado are $6k plus "no low balls cuz I know what I got" crap.
