I called a place I know in FL, they wanted a considerable amount more than I had anticipated. So, I called Magnuson, they were very courteous, and knowledgeable, I will be shipping it out to them once the powder coating is complete.

I'll have to PM DIRTCO and see what his experience was.

Yea. Tacoma's and Fj Cruisers seem to be the only thing I can get my girl to want. If not that she'll go to the dark side and buy a jeep. Noooo lol

Hey I read on another forum a while back ago that you were thinking about putting the inclinometer onto the tacoma. Did u ever do that?

Hey a Tacoma or FJ are hundreds of times better than a junky heep! At least you got yourself a Toyota girl, I feel like they're hard to find haha.

I ended up not installing the inclinometer, I didn't feel like hacking up my dash, although it wouldn't have been difficult to install it, just drill 4 holes.

Wow that's really surprising, I've read a few people's experiences online and everyone has seemed to have nothing but good things to say. With that being said, I think I'm still going to send it out to them as it seems that I don't have many other options.

How do you guys feel about ceramic coating? My headers are stainless steel and for $250 I could have them ceramic coated. Worth it?

Hey thanks!! Good to hear that!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I land this new job, then I can spend some real cash on the Tacoma!

Sorry if I missed it but what did you install the HIDs in?

Your taco is looking sweet, especially with the ARB!

HID's are in the Taco!

Thanks for the compliments! I'm planning some big mods for the future. Basically I'd like to be sitting on 33x10.5's with an OME lift.

Tacoma's looking good, like always! Hope all is well. Definitely miss hearing about the 4runner though, did it get sold to someone local to you?

Much appreciated I try and keep her looking nice, and now that I have a daily driver, I can. Things over here aren't too bad, I've got a job interview tomorrow so I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that one. How are you doing?

I miss the 4Runner but I don't. It was time to move on no doubt. I sold it to a member on here who lives in Michigan. He drove down, and drove it all the way back. He messages me every now and then, she's still runnin great!

Here's a pic of the HID's in the truck. As I stated, they are 55 watt ballasts with 8K bulbs.

People will say that 8K HID's are blue, but as you can see in the pic, 55 watt 8K HID's are very white with a bit of a blue tinge. Now, 35 watt 8K HID's will have a blue tinge, and if you run 35 watt ballasts, you'll have to go with 6K HID's to get this white color.

Thats pretty sweet dude. I've been wanting to upgrade my lights for a while. But got tons of upgrades coming up in the near future. I'm considering just going with some strong KC lights for when I buy my CBI bumper.
Thats gonna look nice at night time.
Wish you would have taken before and after pix.

This is an awesome upgrade! I can see SO MUCH BETTER now!!

Like you, I'd like to get a nice set of Kragen HID lights for my ARB. Let me see if I can find a link.

Here we go; http://www.sidebysidesports.com/kr7hidoflics.html

About half way through the install I thought about taking before and after pics but I was already going along.

Got the supercharger back from the powdercoaters today! Here are a few pics;

NOTE: The pics look pink but I can assure you the supercharger is indeed a nice red color.

Here are the pieces all together

Here's the front and back of the nose cone;

Here's the front and rear of the rotor section, note how the coating is flaking off the lobes of the rotors, apparently this is a common occurrence and is nothing to be concerned about.
