@ black gate, its gonna be roughly 5 inches taller...

1 body lift
3 suspension lift
2 from tires

figure thats as tall as i want it to go...

@ Keith; yes sir! i got it as "modded" as i can afford for now... lol... but when the time comes to do the body lift or anything else, ill definitely hit you up...

speaking of hangin out, i wanted to get a couple people together and go out to Prairie City one day to break the taco in... plus i got a buddy with a ranger... i think we need to show him what REAL trucks can do...

Yeah... it was a VERY sad day...

its kind of a rough base to start with, but its somethin! i already have some money to buy a locking tool box for the bed because going from the space of the runner to a single cab kinda sucks... plus a buddy is gonna sell me his whip CB antenna for cheap... other than that, for now, im just gonna black out the rims because i absolutely DETEST them...

either that or swap the 32x11.5s on... the same ones i had on the runner for a while...

yep... im trying to lift as much as i need, but as little as i can... im hoping i can get a set of treadwrights in the 33x10.5 M/T variety... i like the km2s, but they are just too damn expensive...

got the toolbox today... its not made for a taco, but i got a killer deal on it...

also decided to play in the mud down the street from my house... damn near bald 31" BFG A/Ts did pretty well...

anyways, because the box dont fit right, ive gotta come up with some sort of spacer for it to clear the wheel wells... for now, 2x4s work just fine...

Temporary spacer...

The 2x4's give it a nice redneck look...don't be ashamed at it.

it was just sit there to see what kind of clearance i need... i got a buddy thats gonna get me a piece of 6"x2" rectangular tube. then ill cap the ends and paint it black... i know that it wasnt made for a taco, but im gonna make it fit until i can afford one made for the truck...

as for the cans, i have no cupholders, so i have to drink my sodas before i go anywhere as to not spill them in the cab... so instead of littering, i throw em in the back... consider it my "green" project... im recycling AND funding my project at the same time...

also found out, after combing over the underside of the truck, that it has a 2" body lift on it... no wonder i couldnt, for the life of me, understand why it sat a little bit taller than other 4WDs...

so, thats something i can check off the list...

wont be sticking with the stock gears for long if i get the 33s...

im toying around with the idea of stripping an axle out of an e-locker equipped truck and swapping it in... id do the 4.88s at the same time tho... and prolly have my buddy weld the front spiders...

on the bright side, now you dont have to put a body lift in it, its already there Im really surprised you didn't notice it before with all that bumper work you did.

To be honest, and it sounds stupid, but I've never seen a body lift in real life...
