New Hilux emblems

Haven't posted in a long time, just thought I'd post a picture of my new hilux emblem, as well as my new bumper/hitch with the jack. Let me know what you guys think.

I have been confused for a long time, what exactly does the Hilux mean and which vehicles are they?

hilux is the jap version of our trucks, the hilux surf is a 4runner. the tacoma is an american thing and not the same as newer hiux's. oh and most had a turbo diesel option

Yeah Hilux is what yota called the Truck in every market except north america...
Hilux Surf was the 4runner...
just to keep it confusing the first toyota pick-ups imported in early 70 were called Hilux but did not sell well and were only available for about 2yrs then no trucks for a few yrs until "1gen" truck became avail. in late 70s...
Why they did not call it Hilux <Hi - lux> may have had something to do with FCC rules... at that time High was one of those words you could'nt say on TV / Radio because of the "drug culture" connotation or it could have been concern about mispronunciation ie <Hill - ux>

then to make it more confusing when the taco came out the hilux's and pickups no longer mirrired each other and went there own way. it would be cool to get an older 4 door
