We will see how the pain gods punish me for doing stuff I shouldn't tomorrow. Good chance I wont be able to move...lol. I really do love that little taco...hell I love em all. Funny thing is, I want more toyotas of course...but I am not willing to part with any I have. Seem to be in a conundrum.

Lets see...
1981 Trekker....serves purpose as garage filler...rust collection. Will be full restore inevitably.
1987 4runner. Preferred driver for me.
1999 4runner. Wife drives this.
2001 Taco. Backup? lol. Was to be used for getting back and forth to jobsites to save gas...work van guzzled gas. Since sold the van...sine I cant do tile work anymore.
So I could more than likely cull one out. But I dont think I could.
Taco gets great mileage. The camper shell and bed are great for toting stuff.
99 is a mountain goat in the snow. All my dogs fit. Def cushy ride compared to the rest.
87 Good mileage..makes neat cam lope noises. Just cool to have and history between us.
Trekker, the coolness potential is too great to part with despite the mountain of work.
And to top it off...I want more. a first gen pickup....a second gen pickup...maybe even a third gen!
Im coocoo for yotapuffs. Only reason I would ever sell house and move....more room for toyotas.
Its a sickness.

How did I know at least one of them were for the cool factor? It's quite the collection, though.
I hope to have a 1st gen runner eventually for the summer fun and a 1st gen pickup for the coolness.
My 89 Xtra cab serves all of those purposes for now, as well as having the profound distinction of being my first vehicle!
Yotas, man.

Just a few old raggedy toyotas... my treasures though.
Also nice to not have had a car payment in several years.
When I was younger I had car fever...would get a new one every couple years. Just to be cool and show off. Now I could care less. Best thing about getting older...when you reach the stage you dont care what the hell anyone esle thinks...

The shiney Taco
My good friend came out and did the front 02. No codes...running silky smooth. Even with air on. Never idled so clean.
I also had a detailer come out and buff her. Was sick of looking at the oxidized white paint. I am in no shape to do it, so I had him come out.
He had several buffers...one that went around...several orbital style ones. I peeked as much as I could but the wife wouldn't let me hang out outside for long.
Behold. The shiney Taco.
