HADDIX 03 TRD Dcab Build Thread

Traded my 07 Camry SE for this 03 Tacoma Double Cab 4wd. After selling my 4runner in 2010 I was happy to be back in the 4wd Toyota family.

When I traded it had a hard cover on, that was taken off the same day. Here is the first pic I have of the truck.
Bone stock. I actually planned on keeping it that way for a while but that lasted a week.
Couple more pics while stock.

I tinted the front windows and added some sliders I had made locally.

I hated not really being able to leave anything in the bed. I went back and forth between a leer topper or a softopper and decided on the softopper because I wanted to be able to take it on and off easily. Plus I think the softopper looks bad ass.

I have alcan leafs sitting in the garage and plan on going with 255/85 KM2 and bilstein all around or coilovers up front. Whichever I find first.

I really like the Cap. How easily is it to remove? Great build.

Thanks man. I absolutely love the softopper. It is my favorite mod so far. As far as removing it very simple. Just remove 4 C-clamps that attach to the bed. It can also fold up towards the front of the bed completely out of the way. If you decide to get one I don't think you will be disappointed.

Few updates.
The alcan leafs were a bit to high for my liking. I ended up ordering Dakar leafs and absolutely love them. I also ordered OME nitrocharger sports but havent installed them yet.

Also while searching Craigslist I randomly found an ARB. For the price I couldn't pass it up. I ran an ARB on my 3rd gen 4runner and was very happy with it. Cant wait to get it mounted.

Adopted a St. Bernard mix a couple months back.
My new wheeling buddy, Hank.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I also really like the dcab. I've owned a single cab taco and there just is not enough room IMO.

Some pics from the last wheeling trip to Slade. This was basically a shake down run after lift and tires. I am very happy with everything at this point. I figured out the 255's rub quite a bit in the back but I haven't trimmed at all so I'm not very surprised.

I don't have very many pictures of mine but here are a few I took of some other rigs. After I get the other pics emailed to me I'll add them too.
