It's hard to say, but the 35's and beadlock wheels (almost 50 pounds each!) sure don't help things. Off-roading in general is hard on parts, whether you have 33's or 35's the parts on the vehicle are not going to last as long as a street driven vehicle. Toyota never designed these parts for the conditions we expose them to, especially with the amount of wheeling I do. I don't think the wheels and tires had much to do with the rear axle, but I could be wrong.

Any recent pics? haha... I just need my Vitamin D(drool) fix! Hope it's running great.

PS> A buddy saw your rig and is going nuts with mods since..... SEE? The 'Vitamin D'-Factor is a very influential one!

I have VERY bitter feelings toward Magnuson , but I will try to hold that back and answer your questions.

Magnuson is the original manufacture of the superchargers for TRD, Magnuson stopped producing the first gen nose cones (I'm guessing around the time the 2nd gen came out, or shortly after) and TRD sold out their stock of them. At the time of my dealings with them I found out Magnuson also produced a GM supercharger that had a very similar nose cone, they custom machine the nose cone to adapt to the 1st gen supercharger. For some stupid reason they will not sell the adapted nose cone outright, you have to send them your nose cone (or whole supercharger in my case) and they decide whether it can be rebuilt, or if you deserve a new nose cone. They charge you for it either way, so I'm starting to wonder if they have a limited supply and they are hoarding them until they run out.

I sent them my whole supercharger; they replaced all the internals, along with the nose cone as mine had run out of oil and wasted the housing itself. They charged me $1100.00 to rebuild the entire supercharger and replace the nose cone. I don't know what just a nose cone what cost. My replacement nosecone leaked again after they rebuilt it, so I sent back the supercharger for a second time. After installing the rebuilt charger for a second time, it leaked yet again! So I called them, raised some serious hell, and they sent me just the nose cone and installed it myself since they were unable to put the damn thing together without screwing it up!

There are other shops out there that can replace the seals and bearings in the nose cone, as long as the housing is in good shape. But, if your housing is questionable I think your stuck dealing with Magnuson. You might want to search around, or start a post in the Tacoma tech area, and see if anyone else has some insight for you.

After using your Rigid dually fog lights for awhile how do you feel about them?
Worth it? I am DD my 81 more and more and could use some good fogs periodically.
Any pics of the output at night or in use with snow?

I like them! Last winter was a joke so I didn't get to use them, I've used them a couple times this winter and I like the color in the snow. While they are not a true fog light, they don't glare back like headlights do. Here is a link to some pictures of the light output:

Thanks! That amber light output is impressive. I am looking at converting my headlights to a set of the new style Truck -Lite LED'S. The amber fogs just got bumped up on the list.

Hey! Whet have you been? I take a break from the forum for a while, then come back after stating a rebuild of my 22re, and buying my wife a 97 runner, to find that two of the most influential builders here, you and Volcom are AWOL. You better be doing some fun wheeling!

Seriously, great build. My wife is even a little excited to turn her rig into something like this.

I don't know if he posts here anymore. He's pretty active at t4r.org

Here's his link: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-ge...ner-build.html

Lots of fun wheeling and fabbing.
