No problem man, after all, that is what the site is all about.

Hahaha I will probably just have to do that. Unfortunately, I have to do my timing belt, water pump, etc. first so it may be a while before I have the $$ for the bumper.

I pretty much grew up in Albuquerque. I moved there when I was about 6 and lived there until I went to college in 2006. I went to school in Texas, so I was able to visit and go wheeling during breaks from school but when I finished my masters in September of last year I and moved to DC for a job. I'm not sure when I will be able to make it back...

AND....

I scored a clean E-Locker housing for $60, so a retrofit is coming very soon. I hope to have it done by the end of March as well.

What kind of rims do you have in the background of the pic of your elocker

NM doesn't really change at a rapid pace, so it'll probably look pretty similar whether you make it back next year or 10 years from now.

They are OEM 5 Spokes or "5 stars"... they came stock with cetrain trim packages on 99'-02' 4Runners.

Since I'm already here, might as well update:

I cleaned up the housing and finished the E-Locker wiring last week. The wiring works perfectly, and looks pretty much stock.

Is the rim in the middle of the 5 stars another 5star or is it a different kind. Because it looks like it has more rounded parts

I'm not sure what brand/style that wheel is. All I know is it's a 16x8 wheel with 4" backspacing and it clears my 231 Tundra calipers.

It was given to me for use as a spare by a fellow 4Runner owner who had some extras in his garage.

I just checked out your thread. I knew you had found a housing, but I thought it was funny that we were both doing the same work at literally the same time. My OCD got the best of me w/the axle clean up. It had to look as good or better than the one that came out.

I should get to test mine out tomorrow, I'm really looking forward to it.

Looking great! Glad everything went smoothly for you. I like how you got a stock switch, I like the look of mine but I think I love the look of stock better. Just makes things cleaner. And obviously you have the cleanest e-locked axle swap ever, so it works perfect!
