I already have both in the works.

Getting close. A few more things to do before its pulled, welded, and painted.

1st pic shows the 1" diameter bolt that will eventually be a twist in T handle. Its sleeved with 1.5 x .250 wall DOM through the swing arm, and lower portion of the bumper.

That looks really good man! I wish I had welding skills like that, when I built my tire carrier!

So, my 00' 4runner is getting loaded up for a 600mi trip to meet its new owner tomorrow. I leave at 5am tomorrow to go get this:

So, I am sure that I will want to wheel it first thing on Monday morning. So, mini-me, may see some dirt too as well as the "back up" rig. I'll hopefully get some pics up then of both in action finally.

Congrats man, looks like this will work out well. Is the buggy yota related at all? And do you think you will add anything to it to give it your personal touch?

Well, the deal is done. 4runner is somewhere in the bay area now. Buggy is sitting out front. I left at 5am yesterday and got home at 5:25am this morning. I stopped in Wyoming somewhere and slept for 2.5hrs last night, but drove 1300 miles yesterday. I'm wiped.

I got home at 5:25am after a 24 hour drive (1300 miles), Slept for three hours, woke up at 8:30am, and started working on getting the panels pulled/swapped and basically just left it on the trailer and went wheeling.

John, Ben, and myself went to do a shake down run. Hunter rode shot gun with me in it. We got to the trailhead at around 1pm.

Hunter and I

BigJohn seemed pretty happy.

Ben getting some seat time

We got it into the shop today and stripped the rest of the wrap and cleaned up the panels, and added our own stickers to it.

Cool buggy, Scotty! Looks like you had a great time with it. What does it have for a drivetrain? Looks like it's built very well.

FWIW, I got the seat from JCwhitney with a 20% off coupon off the internet and Free Shipping. $248 shipped to my shop.
I realize this post is old news, but I'm wondering if it's possible you still have these pics and could repost them? I'm exploring options to add more seating to the 4runner and your post came up. If not, no biggie, just curious- thanks!
