T100 oil pan went on today.

Then I moved the front axle forward 1.75" and tested clearance with a tire installed. Its good by around an inch at the firewall and inner fenders. No issues there, but the front is going to require some trimming.

nice dude... still jealous hahaha
ok, so, as my post count shows, I'm not a newb around here, and I don't typically highjack, but I do have one quick question that I don't want to start a thread over.
I am replacing my entire rear axle with another on my 3rd gen. Do I need to use coil compressors to achieve this? I'm thinking def, but my buddy said not, soo, I dunno haha, I was hoping you would know.
and when I win the lottery, I am buying it, I got dibs

Well, I finally got the new coupler into the prerunner adapter. I tested it and sure enough the input was bottoming out on the small flange/neck inside the Inchworm coupler. This was keeping the mounting surfaces from sitting flush by about 1/4". However, the Marlin one sliders another 3/8" onto the crawl box input shaft. It allows both surfaces to sit flush.
Here are some pics. First one is the Inchworm coupler. 2nd one is the Marlin coupler.
Also, just as a reference. The crawl box is a Trail-Gear crawl box with their 23 spline 2.28 input. So, that input will work with the Marlin coupler as it just sliders right on it. I have heard that the 4.7 gear will not though. I have one here and it looks like it could be pressed, but I doubt you could do it considering you still need to POUND the Marlin coupler onto the transmission output anyway.

So, I haven't done much. Been waiting on some stuff to come in, and needed to rethink A LOT. I ended up ordering some coilover towers, but they just are not going to work. If I was going full hydro they would be sweet, but oh well.
So, today I welded the knuckle balls in place on the axle. Set at 4* of caster.
I also bent out what I hope will work for some coilover hoops. I also mocked up where the steering box is going to go, although it still needs to move up at least an inch.

Panhard bracket mocked up. I have checked this with the coilover location and it should clear throughout the cycle. I will check it more before finish welding everything.

Reamer for GM 1ton rod ends.

TRE size difference between the GM 1 ton ends and the FJ80 ends.

Got a lot done today. I have no rigs in the shop getting work right now for the next four days, so I am going to knock as much stuff out as possible.
Steering box is in. Tie-rod is cut and welded. Draglink is next. Panhard is cut and welded.
Only thing I am going to have to change is to raise up the frame side panhard mount another inch and a half to 28". Its too low and its currently the only clearance issue I have at this point.

So, its sitting on the coilovers.
Going to need to go with triple rates and 10" uppers to get the ride height down and to keep the coils from flopping around at full droop. Its taller than I wanted which is why I want to switch. It needs to drop 1.75" from where its at. I have 6.75" of shaft showing. I know it will settle in with a bumper and winch as well though too.
