Yes, still looking, but. . .

But I just located a Black 99 SR5 with EVERYTHING except the kitchen sink. 42k miles on it. Belonged to a doctor. It's mine for 16k. How does this deal sound?
Will check it out tomorrow, but Carfax is fine. I'm getting tired (and poor) sending these trucks to dealers for inspection.

Sounds like a deal - is it 4wd? Seems cheap for a 99 with only 42K

Local dealership here has a 99 and a 2k. Lowest mi. on either is the 99 w/ 58 and some change on the clock... call it 58k. Pretty well loaded for $18,500. You sure that 99 is a 4x4?

Yes, it's a 4x4 w/ tow package, sunroof, & other stuff, too. A doctor's car so it's been conservatively used.

Not neccessarily, I know a lot of doctors in the scottsdale area that drive their cars pretty aggresively, and why? Cuz they can $$$

Doctor drivers

Don't be fooled into thinking a doc baby's his car. My fiancee is a surgeon and she's a hard driver. I know many doc's. Some have no clue what "oil change" means.
That does sound like an awesome price though.
I'd ask if there are service records.
