Yellow headlight bulbs? and Where to order Downey coils?
I've been looking for some headlight bulbs that make the light more yellow/amber color, like the color of a Lexus foglight. In bad weather, that color is more useful, and we get a good amount of rain and such up here. Does anyone know anywhere that sells these?
Also, where did you all get your Downey rear coils from? Central 4wd sells them, but I didn't see anywhere to make sure I order the HD ones...

that was quick, dude. Thanks. Have you heard anything about the HD coils from All Pro Offroad? They're a bit cheaper than Downey's. Or should I just go with Downey?

I have some phillips that they sell in England--they are a yellow/purple color like the piaas used to be--they work well and they have held up to wheeling every other weekend for a year. I think they are called all weather--they work great in the rain. The high wattage are prone to burnout after a wheeling trip or two.....

After I upgraded my headlights to the Silverstars, I changed the stock H3 bulb in my fog lights to the Yellowstars from Susquehanna Motor Sports, http://www.rallylights.com/hella/H3.asp
I stayed with the 55w bulb because the Hella Micro DE lamp housing is so small, I was concerned about heat dissipation. I'm happy with the choice and really appreciate them on dark rainy nights.

I think I'm going to go with the Philips All-weather, because they're some of the only ones available in a 9004 bulb. I reallllly wish I had a newer rig with the H4 lights. Sigh...
