Wrong ends on TJM?

I have my new TJM on and the end caps are way to short. They are 3" from being flush with the fender flare...Has anyone ever ran into this before?

Also, The hole to access the winch handle is sitting under my grill do I need a different grill?

I have spoke to RYAN at TJM and he wants me to send in pics and part numbers What ever happen to honesty..

I must say this TJM seems weak. I would probably go ARB.. if I had to do all over again... just my thoughts.

I dont kow what bumper or vehichle youre talking about as far as endcaps but my grill also covered the winck handle so I didnt rotate it to fit. It will be a pita if Im bumper deep in mud, otherwise no harm no foul.

Hey bud, shoot a little more information and I can try to help you out. I have never had the complaints you are referring to, so lets see if we cannot work that out.

Have you spoke to the dealer you purchased it through?

Mike

Most hidden bumper/winch systems you have to undo the allenbolts on the end with the handle and rotate it to where you want it... and DO NOT pull the whole thing off, just enough to turn it...

Actually, I'd just asked DavidB about this! On a "factory configured" Warn system, the drum release handle shows up right at a spot underneath an eliptical opening in a TJM 15/17 which normally has a plastic plug in it. You pop the plug, and the handle's right there.

The HS9500, you have to un-do the allen bolts and rotate the handle to the position of choice, but isn't necessary. I left mine in the stock position and just reach underneath to flip the lever.

On all the Limited 4Runners with the TJM-15 the "wings" were tucked in about 1" from what I've seen. Did you get the proper model for your rig?
