Wrecked runner

Well I got in a wreck in my 4runner yesterday. Have to say it was one of the saddest days in my life. I was going to pass a truck on the road and looked over my shoulder to change lanes, looked forward again to see the truck in front of me at almost a dead stop. I didn't have enough time to swerve out the way and I hit his back corner with my drivers side corner. My 4runner will be in the shop for a while. I at least need a new fender, hood, bumper, grille, valance and headlight. What a day. But everyone was okay so that's good. Trucks can be replaced but people can't.

I am glad to hear that you are ok. Like you said, metal and plastic can be replace but people can't.
Sorry to hear about your 4Runner.

even worse

oh yeah and get this...I called my mom after I had gotten in the wreck to come and pick me up and guess what she had in the van with her? My newly painted fender flares that I was supposed to put on this weekend. Oh well...I'll put those on in the midst of repairs and I'll probably get a grille with billet installed instead of opting for the factory one while I'm at it.

Sorry to hear the news about your Runner.
At least you were safe.

I'm sure it will be fixed good.
Take a look at what happened to Lee's rig a few years back.

Good as new after it got worked on.

I can't believe that they didn't total the truck out!!
I would be scared to drive it after 1/3 of the body was removed!!
